Welcome to our online shop! We feature a constantly rotating stock of colorways in our super-premium yarns and rovings. All of our fibers are either grown here on out very own farm or purchased from American farmers at fair prices.
Because most of our dye lots are very small, we strongly encourage you to order a bit more than you think you’ll need for your project. We will happily exchange any unused, still-skeined yarn for a new color if you have any left over.

2010 Yarn and Fiber CSA Shares
$87.50 — $300.00
When you join the 2010 CSA, you’ll receive a shareholders certificate, regular updates on what’s going on around the farm, and an invitation to our Shearing Day Celebration. We will also have once-a-month open farm days when you can come visit the flock and check on your “investment.” You will get to know the animals on our farm through photographs, blog postings and by watching our “lambcam” during lambing and kidding.
Buying a share in our CSA, you are investing in our 2010 “yarn harvest” of Cormo yarn and fleece. Joining a CSA isn’t about buying yarn inexpensively or in bulk. It’s about finding out how the yarn you use is made, connecting with the animals and farmers that produce it and becoming part of a community of like-minded knitters, spinners and crocheters.
After the shearing in the spring, we’ll let our friends at the mill work their magic and in a few months you’ll receive your share of the harvest. The number of skeins, yardage, etc., will depend on the size of the clip but this year, for the first time, we are publishing the minimum amounts you will receive with your purchase. (See below.) We are also cutting the number of shares we sell in half this year, to ensure that we can provide the good customer service to our shareholders.

We’ve priced our CSA Shares at $175 per share. This year, we are also offering Half Shares and Double Shares. You may chose to take your share in yarn or in roving for spinning.
Here’s what you get with each share:
Half Shares include a minimum of 3 skeins of Cormo yarn OR approximately 12 ounces of Cormo roving, and a 5% discount on all purchases in our online retail shop.
Full Shares include a minimum of 6 skeins of Cormo yarn OR approximately 24 ounces of Cormo roving and a 10% discount on all purchases in our online retail shop.
Double Shares include a minimum of 12 skeins of Cormo yarn OR approximately 48 ounces of Cormo Roving, a 2010 Juniper Moon Calendar and a 20% discount in our retail shop.
All shares are sold as natural or undyed yarn. Dyeing options will be available after the shearing for an additional fee.
Our farm practices humane animal husbandry, we are “predator friendly” and none of our animals are ever sold for meat. The sheep and goats graze on organically managed pasture 9 months out of the year. We supplement with quality hay and a custom-made whole grain ration.
We reserve the right to substitute or add fleeces in the event of catastrophe or shortfall. Please read this entire listing before purchasing a share.
