Tell Me Something Good Tuesday!

Tell Something GoodTuesdays

It’s Tuesday! Time to share all the good things going on in our lives with each other!

I’ll go first:

  1. 1.My sister had two out of three spot of skin cancer successfully removed and none of them were too deep.
  2. Darwin survived his surgery and is now longer trying to have sex with my leg all day long.
  3. Mike is going on a business trip to the Azores this week and I get to tag along! I have wanted to go the Azores for many, many year, and Mike and I had talked about going before we found out about this trip. I’m going to spend the next week exploring, taking pictures and taking in the culture. I’ll tell you all about it when I get back.

Your turn! Tell me something good, y’all!

  1. My summer classes are full of great people! The contractor working on the house were’re trying to buy doesn’t seem like a bozo!

  2. We’re STILL waiting for our nigerian dwarf doe to kid and SOOOO excited to see these little ones. Maybe today will be the day??

  3. Today I am wearing a cute new dress, and a co-worker said it looks like I have lost weight. I haven’t, but still it was nice of her to say so.

  4. Thankful to my bees for my delicious fruit this morning.
Thankful to a new job opportunity which involves bees, kids and hopefully travel.
    Thankful for good friends.

My daughter is finally scheduled to have her wisdom teeth removed after suffering the pain for a full school semester. The doctor will accept what the insurance will pay, so there will be no charge to us.

My daughter’s best friend from hs is coming home from CA after having to have surgery for abscesses on her caused by MRSA . She is expected to make a full recovery.

  7. Start a sort of new job today. New responsibilities, new job title, new opportunities, new salary, same employer. Feels so good to be appreciated for what you do at your job.

  8. Last week I found a cute pair of sandals that are really, really comfortable.

Today I went back to buy a second pair and THEY WERE ON SALE for 40% off. Got myself two new pairs, in different colors.

  9. I can see with more clarity and detail than I have in years!! Monday I get the second implant and then will try to get “reading glasses” so I can thread a needle once more! So grateful for a terrific surgeon and kind people willing to provide transportation until I can drive again (kinda scary to do that with one eye!)

  10. My health insurance from the new job kicks in today! After 2 solid years unemployed it’s good to be working again, and to be appreciated for being good at the job. And it gives me time at work to knit and spin when things are quiet (yay for graveyard shift!).

  11. I just found out there is a named storm off the coast of Florida and we should get some rains from it, just in time for the 4th! It’s been really, really rainy all spring and now has been dry, dry, dry. I don’t want it to rain on the 4th but have no problems with getting the ground wet. People can be idiots when it comes to fireworks… I don’t want to see the state on fire! Happy Independence Day to all!!

  13. I saw an orphaned baby cat bird being fed by a momma sparrow. The baby was twice her size.

  14. Passed my certification exam!

  16. Picked my son up from friends house in San Antonio after 3 weeks away and so happy he is back, knitting a hat with Heriot from my older boy while we ride back to TN. Love JMF

  17. Baked my first rock fish(striped bass I’m a Marylander) with crab topping, and my husband & daughter lived it, I did too!

  18. I’ve got TWO for you today!
    1) My parents are celebrating their *47th* wedding anniversary today! Holy crapola!
    2) Last week, I had my first job interview since November…and it went so well that I have a followup interview next week!
