Like most women my age, I was broken-hearted to hear about Whitney Houston’s untimely death. The whole thing is just so terribly sad-making, particularly because Whitney brought so much much joy throughout much of her life. Who among us hasn’t belted out “I will always love you” into a hairbrush in front of the mirror or danced ourselves silly to one of her early hits?
And that’s why I think this tribute is exactly perfect.

That was awesome! RIP Whitney.
totally cool g’ma!
I love that! I hope I’m rockin’ out like she is when I’m ’90.
What an awesome, awesome lady!
Love the video…..may we all dance into our 90′s:)
Susan, How do you find these things you find? You are such a dear person to share this example of the beauty of human beings. Lastly, my heart feels heavy anytime I hear of someone struggling with un-love of self, dying alone in such a way. I wonder whether Whitney ever heard how some of her songs have been used in mental health therapy, affirming ways for others in emotional pain.
i am SOOOO going over to her house to play! awesome.
words escape me, but this is soo perfect. I, too, hope I can dance when I am 90 but I sure hope it’s not in honor of someone. We lost Whitney years ago. May she be the last we lose like that.
Lisa, you two would get along FAMOUSLY.
thanks for sharing that… kinda puts stuff in perspective….
