There is so much going on around here these days that I thought it wise to post a little recap:
- First up, our Design Contest featuring Willa and Chadwick. You have until March 1st 2012 to get your pattern and garment in the mail to us if you want your design to be considered, so keep an eye on the calendar.
- Next, if you are planning to enter our Mighty Big Giveaway for a chance to win a flock of Cormo sheep, you have until March 16th to get your video to us. You’ll find all the details here.
- Did you know we have a Ravelry group? If you’re not a member yet you really should join. First of all, it is the one of the nicest, friendliest corners of Ravelry. The women there are some of the most amazing, supportive, welcoming people I’ve ever known and I promise you will love them once you get used to all the off-topic chatter. Another great reason to join is that we you will find lots of other people knitting our new patterns, which can be a great help if you get stuck on something. We’d love to have you as a member!
- Several of you have asked me to put a “Pin it” button on my blog posts to make it easier to add things you find her to Pinterest. Your wish is my command! If you click on the title of comments of any post and you can pin to your hearts content. (If you aren’t on Pinterest yet and want an invitation, leave a comment in this post and I’ll hook you up.)
I promise not to harass you daily about voting for us in the About. com Readers’ Choice Awards between now and March 21st, but I will tell you that you can vote every 24 hours till it’s over. You know, in case you were wondering.
Finally, I am uber-excited to tell you that we will be making a BIG announcement next week. BIG BIG BIG. I can’t wait to share it with you because keeping this secret lo these many months has very nearly killed me.

What on earth could it be? Now I’m all wound up about this big announcement, too!
I for one would appreciate a link to the voting at the end of a post on a daily basis. Call me lazy, but really it’s more like forgetful, but it would make voting for JMF (something I REALLY want to be doing) very simple for me to remember in my hectic days.
Also, may I make a request for the shop? Would you consider selling some prints of photos of JMF sheep/goats/mini-donks…..? I’d love to hang some in my knitting nook. Just a suggestion.
Looking forward to the big news, it’ll probably be something we’ll like (and want!!)… Reiterate and second the request for “Vote here” link on a daily basis. I didn’t realize the link in today’s post was a “Vote here” link. We, okay, I, need it spelled out… (I went back to the original post and voted today, then thought “I wonder…” and it was…)
