Happy Thanksgiving Eve, y’all!  Otherwise known as the last sane day till January 2. At the farm we are crazy-busy, pre-paring for tomorrow’s feast, our Spring/Summer photo shoot  in a couple of weeks, selecting yarns for Fall 2012 and organizing the dyeing and shipping of the 2011 shares.

So much hustle. So much bustle. So very much to do. In other words, the holidays!

I’m hoping that your holiday season isn’t half so nuts as ours and that you still have time to get some holiday knitting done. And in that spirit, we’re starting the gift giving a scooch early this year.

We hope you will enjoy the knitting The Sluggy Bonnet as much as we love giving it to you.

This is one of my very favorite patterns from our Fall/Winter books and it’s a joy to knit. As I mentioned in a previous post, the fun thing about this hat pattern is that, by reversing the colors, you can knit THREE hats with only three balls of Chadwick.

Chadwick is so special, so soft and so lofty that you may never want to knit with anything else. 60% Merino Wool/40% Baby Alpaca. You can find it at lots of local yarn shops, and online if you don’t live near one of our stockist.

I would LOVE to see your Sluggy Bonnets! Send me pics as you finish them and I’ll post them here on the blog.

To get your free copy of this awesome pattern, just click the link below. You are welcome to share the link with your friends but we do ask that you send them to the blog to print a copy of their own. Printing working copies is a-ok!
