Probably something you would like…

I love bow ties in the abstract, especially these. I just think most men who wear them are a little too…interesting. Shall we start a campaign to get normal men to wear bow ties? Never mind. Too much work.

Fabulous bag and not too pricey.

This grain sack stair runner made me feel faint. So very lovely!

Just perfect.

Adorable.

Let’s make Olive Oil Gelato, shall we?

I am definitely making Watermelon Jelly this weekend!

These boots measure the rain level. Charming.

I’ve never really understood pompoms but this is lovely.

Made me laugh so hard.

The children from the original Willy Wonks movie. Augustus Gloop, Violet Beauregarde, Mike TV, Veruca Salt and Charlie Bucket.

So pretty.

DIY dollhouse made from an Ikea Billy bookcase.

Make your own chalk board speech bubble.

These 180-square-foot Eco Cabanas really knock me out.

These are the images and links that are making me happy this week. Do you have something we would probably like? Link us up in the comments or send me an email at Susie At Fiber Farm Dot Com

i know this sounds, but hear me out, if you put a little jalapeno in that watermelon jelly, it would totally rock.

The original Charlie Bucket has been to my farm….. he is now a Vet here in Lowville, NY; did the movie cause he wanted to be a veterinarian and knew it would finance his education….. very nice man. (and a good vet)

(BTW, the father of someone you know only wears bow ties. I can’t remember the last time I saw him in a four-in-hand.)

So many things I loved about this post…I was immediately struck by the bow ties though. One of my favorite college professors wore all white with a big bow tie every day. Instantly took me back :) And the dollhouse reminds me of one my grandfather made me when I was a little girl. Thanks for the memories!

I LOVE satchel bags like that. They hold more than you think they will, stay open, don’t slouch … they’re wonderful!

Every time you post one of these I end up with 80 new tabs and all kinds of new bookmarks to look at later. I look forward to probably something I would like…

We should figure out how to subtly dye paper and dye some for these: http://www.thejealouscurator.com/blog/2010/08/27/im-jealous-of-yuko-takada/

my daddy used to wear bow ties. and those pom-poms look like a solution to your yarn scrapple collection.

Hey! Who you calling interesting?! I wear bow ties exclusively (They don’t blow around in the wind, or fall in your soup, or get dripped on, etc.), _and_ I knit. Does that make me extra-interesting? :)

Are you sure it’s rainwater those boots are measuring the level of? I immediately thought of something more … sheep-related.
