PEEPS……
Yay Ethel!
Oh Ethel..you have such a pretty baby!
I can’t believe she let’s you pick them up!
That’s what I was going to say… how did you get them away from defender Mama?
Slick CHick!
Cute!
Susan,
Was it the traditional 21 days or less? and did you let “Momma” do all of the turning or did you have to help out? I’m thinking of getting a rooster just so I can have some chicks – all I have is hens and some of them are getting old.
A tiny chicken!
Isn’t there something about not counting before they’re hatched…
just kidding. Cute!!!
So dear! Thanks for letting us get a peek at the new babe.
Also, I just got my first two skeins of Juniper Moon Farm worsted and the colors are gorgeous. Many thanks.
Good for Ethel. What’s the theme for chicken names?
Apparently I’ve not been paying attention, cause I had no idea it was a chicken at first glance.
Sheesh. Where have I been?
Go, Ethel! I have chicken envy!
Squeeeeeeeeeee! So cute!
Hi Mike! The hen turns the eggs herself so there is nothing to do there. She has been sitting for 22 days now, I believe, and has a few more eggs to hatch. It’s really wicked easy this way!
