Wish I knew all the movies represented here so I could sit and watch them all!! This is probably better, all dancing… Thanks!

glad to hear the eye is okay!

Vickie September 1, 2010 at 7:50 am

Besides dancing in your chair, it makes you want to get up and take a dance class so you can dance like them!

Erin L September 1, 2010 at 8:19 am

So amazingly cool! What the heck is the aerobics movie with Jamie Lee Curtis?

Jane from Maryland September 1, 2010 at 8:39 am

Anybody want to dance? I do!

LizzieK8 September 1, 2010 at 9:05 am

Thanks! It made my day!

Julie September 1, 2010 at 11:21 am

Love! I guess this means that Footloose is the ultimate dance song.

dina (dinaknitsinmd) September 1, 2010 at 11:44 am

Footloose! Flashdance! Dirty Dancing! Greese! White Nights! These are all my teen growing up movies….tripping down memory lane here and loving it. Thanks!

Anyone know the movie (exercise video?) with Jane Fonda? and didja notice Trivolta is in that clip too. I don’t remember that one, though it screams 1980′s…

Jenna September 1, 2010 at 1:36 pm

Love it.

I think I know most of the videos in there:
Dirty Dancing, Billy Elliot, Pulp Fiction, Step Up, Center Stage, Phantom of the Opera, Flashdance, Grease, White Knights, Honey, Footloose, Clerks 2, Saturday Night Fever, Singing in the Rain, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, High Fidelity, American Pie, Coyote Ugly, West Side Story, Rockey Horror Picture Show, Moulin Rouge, Mary Poppins, Strictly Ballroom, Happy Feet, Mama Mia, Austin Powers, You Got Served, and High School Musical. Google says the Jamie Lee Curtis/John Travolta movie is Perfect. Not sure if there was more than one movie with Fred Astaire that was featured, and I’m not sure about the Michael Jackson movie either. How sad is it that I know most of these by sight.

maltese parakeet September 1, 2010 at 2:08 pm

fran September 1, 2010 at 3:45 pm

Jenna, you are awesome, thanks!!!! Is it vintage movie night???

Deb Clemens September 1, 2010 at 4:43 pm

wow. takes me back to my youth… makes me want to take dance lessons…. makes me wonder how you find these things?

woolies September 1, 2010 at 5:03 pm

what maltese parakeet said.

I used to be able to dance, some, before I got old and fat.

Jeanie Babbage September 1, 2010 at 5:29 pm

I love it, but it makes me feel SO OLD!!!!!!

Jan September 1, 2010 at 5:33 pm

Jenna–thanks so much for all the movie names. I will be having back surgery, my second, next month and I know from experience that it will be a long, painful and frustrating recovery to get through. I think that I am going to see how many of those movies I can get copies for and take them with me. I can’t think of better entertainment when I am trying to get my feet back under me.

turtle September 1, 2010 at 5:57 pm

that was always such a great scene form the movie!

Susan September 1, 2010 at 6:55 pm

Karen September 1, 2010 at 10:01 pm

I loved this movie so much in the 80s, I came out of the theater and danced through the parking lot and on top of my car. I wish I could save this video and watch it all the time. Thanks for sharing Susie

Beverly September 2, 2010 at 12:15 pm

Smiles, indeed. And it brings back a lot of happy memories. Do they even make movies like these anymore? Thank you.
