I had lunch with my friend Tanis in D.C. today and she brought me two beautiful surprises. The first was a 5th Avenue Infinity Scarf that she knitted for me in our Franny and Zoey colorway. I can’t tell you how much I love this scarf! It’s in my favorite color and knit by one of my favorite people in the world.
The second thing Tanis brought me was a new pattern she designed using Juniper Moon Farm yarn.
Behold Moose Tracks:
Isn’t it precious?
Love the wee collar and buttons.
Completely smitten by the mooses. Meeses? Whatever. I smitten either way. (Wonder if I could get her to design one featuring mules?)
Adore the pine trees.
I am also enamored of the itty bitty hat!
I am still enough of a kittenhead that it makes me go all weepy when designers use my yarn. It’s such an honor!
Barclay Dunn designed a STUNNING pair of socks using our Toe Shoes colorway.
Just so achingly lovely.
The pattern is called “En Pointe“
Funnily enough, we are out of the colorways that both of those patterns are designed in (both are coming back soon!) but any of our worsted colors will work for Moose Tracks and any of our sock yarns will sub for En Point.

Adorable sweater! Lovely socks, too. Which makes me wonder… was I the first person to knit you socks in your own yarn?
Chappy says to say hello, by the way!

POST A PIC OF THE INFINITY SCARF please
I would have so pick the Moose Track Sweater pattern for the yarn giveaway if I had known about it. One for my daughter, and another for a friends son. So cute.
I was thrilled to see my socks on your blog! Thank you for showing them! I loved using this yarn, by the way, it’s super soft and the color was just, as you put it, achingly lovely. Thank you Susie!!
xoxo
Oh My Goodness, that sweater is so, so sweet. And the hat. LOVE!!!
That really is the cutest baby sweater ever!! Thanks for the heads up on that one!! Love it.
Darn. You KNOW my sister reads this blog and I assume that by noon, she’ll be “putting in an order” for Moosetracks for Owen, due in December. Now MY infinity scarf, which has been hibernating since Squam, will have to wait. Thanks Tanis! Thanks Susie!
AAAAHHH!!! I want that sweater pattern!!! You must dye more of that green, it’s perfect for my little winter baby!
Tanis, I don’t know you, but I think I love you.
Too cute–I don’t knit–who can I order one from for my grandson?–it is adorable–he would look precious in it come cold weather–
Every time I get on your blog I end up buying something! I had to have the little moose sweater pattern. Too cute.
