Glad to hear that they have a name for it, but that wikipedia entry is seriously scarey--hope Susan's not reading it. Does I second everybody's audio suggestions--podcasts & books. People say the Stephen Frye's Podgrams are hilarious. Does she have an audible membership?

My Dad has suffered from iritis several times over the years and his definition of iritis is "hey dummy, the eye is inflamed'. Make sure you keep up with the dilation drops. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

audio books, audio books, audio books. From the library. If they have finger prints on them, wipe the discs with rubbing alcohol on pure cotton balls. If need be, dry the disc with pure cotton balls. Finger prints are usually at the edge. If you don't mind a little crackle, it's an easy why to tell when you are near the end of the disc. Be careful, they become addictive as you can listen and do something else (eventually, when the eye is better.) Take care. And thanks Maggie, for the update and keeping the farm going so Susan can relax and recover!

Library....books on Cd or Playbacks....they are prerecorded on cute little devices that look like Ipods. And it's free. Good luck. You are in my prayers for a full recovery...and a speedy one. Lucy

Hmmm, seems I might have to pick up some of the books recommended! Audio books would be great to listen to while knitting!
Please get well soon, want to hear what the specialist says, so will be checking in again tomorrow. Yikes, the things our bodies do to us!!
