I love watching all baby animals, they are so cute. The little tails are wagging all the time.

LOL! Cracks me up that Hannah just walks away when kids are still trying nurse.

Hannah looks totally blissed out while the babies are eating. So happy!

Susan, Hannah is such a good mommy goat. Those two are growing like weeds too. Thanks as always for sharing… Have a wonderful fiber weekend!

Jessica March 19, 2010 at 4:41 pm

Oh my goodness. Why on earth are they SO ADORABLE?! I want a fiber farm so badly! :)

The tail wagging just does me in.. :) Just out of curiosity, how’s Lucy doing with her first kids?

Licky lips, waggy tails and flappy ears. Learning to be a goat. And such a good Mama teacher.
Made my day! Thanks so much for sharing.
Happy Spring!!

Tell you what…I know that it’s for a purpose, but if MY kids bopped me in the boobs like that, I would not be as laissez faire as Hannah!!! Adorable!!!

@Ejka “just out of curiosity, how’s Lucy doing with her first kids?”

Lucy hasn’t really met the kids. She’s been in a pen by herself because she’s still a bit too excited and playful to be in with the sheep and goats, in addition to her being small enough that she can squeeze through the fencing, and so can’t just be let out to the pasture because she’d escape.

Susie – tell us about why Hannah has already had her kids and the other two are so much later. Was “the deed” done at different times? Are goats of the same breed so different in when they kid? I remember last year it seemed like everyone dropped at once, but maybe I’m misremembering….

Thanks, Lauria! I was wondering.. :)

Was just about to turn off the computer when I checked at the Lambcam just on a lark and got to hear about the newest babies. I heard that one of the baby’s has problems with it’s ankles? Can you explain what that is?
