Alabama

Feenat

Daisy

Delaware

Alabama again.

Feenat extreme close-up

Big Ernie

Delaware extreme close-up

Miss Hannah is as big as a house and she is bagging up! That means babies sooner than later.

Mrs. Doubtfire has a slightly smaller udder than Hannah.

And Nanny McPhee is just starting to show signs of milk.

Babies soon, y’all!

Alabama amazes me each time you shoot him, because he’s Just. So. BIG!! He’s ENORMOUS! I want to rename him Augustus Gloop, even if he’s not fat. The wool pushing up around his head reminds me of that unfortunate boy.

You could just shoot 5-6 pics every day and never say a word and I would be just fine, you take such lovely pictures of such lovely babies. As always, thanks for sharing…

Extreme closeups of sheepy noses make me sooo happy!

Just what I needed to start my day. Your animal photos should be sold as anti depression meds.
Looking forward to the new babes.
Heartfelt thanks.

I love the way Alabama always looks like he’s smiling and just ready to talk to you. Pics of him and the rest of the flock always make my day!

Sarah February 26, 2010 at 10:34 am

I also feel as big as a house, but do not appear to be bagging up yet. :-) Who knew I had so much in common with goats?

Carol (chackler) February 26, 2010 at 11:07 am

That’s it, Alabama is my favorite, next to Miss Linda. Just look at that big ‘ol fuzzy face of his. He is such a handsome boy!

Susan February 26, 2010 at 11:07 am

I want to see pics, Sarah. Let see that belly.

Susan February 26, 2010 at 11:19 am

I think he looks somewhat like a muppet.

Lisa Stockebrand (aka. lasdcm) February 26, 2010 at 11:59 am

WANT Alabama! sooooooooorrrrrffffle,

Cynthia Deal February 26, 2010 at 12:13 pm

Just..adore..Big Ernie’s dreadlock bangs!

Carol (chackler) February 26, 2010 at 1:03 pm

Susie, why do some of the sheep have a little black something under their eyes? Is that their morning eye crusties that just kind of stick there and accumulate?

Susan February 26, 2010 at 1:42 pm

It’s just dirt and gunk that collect there. It does make them look like football players, doesn’t it?

not related to this post but the bee keeping, went to my extension site, they are having a “Day of Gardening’ (annual event, this is year 3 for me) and Bee Basics is one of the sessions, apparently we have a bee association in Jacksonville (FL). And yes, all this for $10 ( about1/2 doz short sessions, venders and… LUNCH!!) Use ‘em or lose ‘em!

Lori aka Knittingfool February 26, 2010 at 3:49 pm

…but where’s my Colorado baby?
And I wonder how Miss Linda is handling her lack of impending babies status this season…

Julie Roads February 26, 2010 at 9:12 pm

I have to kiss Daisy on her little mouth – I’m catching the first flight out tomorrow…EDIBLE.
