I am a total sucker for packing and this Hanger Tea very nearly killed me.

I’m not really sure how I got interested in paper hot air balloons but I think they are amazingly cool, especially when lots of them are launched at night. If you’re a good stuff-maker, there are loads of tutorials like this own for making your own. If, like me, you’re not such a good maker of stuff, you can order a pre-made version here.

I am completely charmed by very nearly everything at Rifle Paper Co.

I saw An Education this weekend. It’s beautifully shot and styled, and very thinky.

Artist/illustrator Lisa Congdon, who once painted a picture of one of our ewes, has a new photo blog called A Collection a Day. She only started posting on 1/1 but I’m already in love with it. It’s amazing how these humble objects become so lovely in groups.

My friend Jane Hurst is one of the most amazing women I know. She just retired from her Department Chair position at Gallaudet University and her new blog- Retired, but Not Retiring- will chronicle her next adventures. I know you’ll love her as much as I do!

I can’t believe that I’ve never blogged about Lavender and Limes, Christine Chitnis’s blog. Christine just returned from the trip of a life time to India and her photographs are absolutely stunning.

I love crush party and  I spent the better part of one lazy Sunday afternoon devouring this photo blog that’s a sort of online inspiration board. And, even though I’d met Champagne Maker (yes, that’s her real name and she is wonderful enough to live up to it) in real life, you can’t imagine how surreal it was for me to stumble of this photo:

because I have that couch. And that rug. And OMG that’s IS my couch!

I’ve been watching the British series Kingdom on hulu it’s fantastic. Great characters and writing.
