I pray she has a speedy recovery. Our dog was hit by a car back in 2000. She shattered one of her legs and the other hip was out of socket. Her vet bills were scary. But, she's still with us 10 years later! I pray Lucy will have a long wonderful life ahead of her also. So glad to hear she is doing better! I pray she has a speedy recovery.

I've had numeriuos struggles but never doubted my decision to leave a steady paying job for this incredible life. I've been following your blog for the last several months and have often wondered how you manage to never have any struggles. I just assumed you must be very wealthy and could just pay for things that most of us farmers cannot (like two employees). I really appreciate you cander and honesty. I love your blog and I love the illussion that you create with only posting about the bright side of farming, I can only speak for myself but I have more of an apreciation knowing you too have moments of strife that you will undoubtly get through to also share with your readers.
