I left the house today for the first time since Thursday.
It was highly over-rated.
I’m beginning to think I would be the perfect candidate for house arrest.
Tomorrow I’m staying home.
Bring on the snow.

Beautiful snow! I would like to see some clean white snow, for maybe a day or two. But now I have to go out and water my lettuce.

When in Charlottesville be sure to visit Zinc (they used to be open for lunch and dinner but now I think only dinner) and the Albemarle Baking Company – as a cake lover it is a place you will LOVE!!
haha house arrest! me too! Today was my first out also since the wintery blast in Maryland….I can’t believe that it’s going to rain on all this snow…we’re building our ark!
I’m a solitary soul and would happily just stay on my farm all the time if I was allowed. As Tasha Tudor said, “In the world, you have to pretend an awful lot, thank people for some thing you don’t like, say you’re glad to see someone when really you wish they were in Australia. When I’m alone, I can be completely myself. I can tell the cat what’s on my mind and when they’re recalcitrant, I can tell the goats exactly what I think of them and no one can hear me.”
