Probably something you would like…

Megan at NotMartha may have out-Marthaed Martha herself this time, y’all. The creator of the bacon cup- never content to rest on her laurels- has given the world tiny gingerbread houses designed to perch your mug of hot chocolate. Can a Nobel be far off? I think not.

This kind of think usually makes me vaguely nauseus but I think these Mommy calling cards are really cute and probably really handy for playdates and such.

I’ll admit that I’m a little over the whole “chocolate-with-unexpected-flavors” things but I love the packaging of these and I’d love to try the  Tortilla Lime and Salt version.

Great tips on keeping the holidays simple for children. I should have posted this ages ago but I’ve been very busy napping, drinking red wine and watching DVDs, so you’ll have to save it for next Christmas.

I just adore the Sundance catalog, don’t you? Such beautiful photography and styling. Right now I’m crushing on this grosgrain ribbon.

I recently discovered Tarelette and I’m hooked. Interesting recipes and some of the most beautiful food photography I’ve seen. Just so lovely.

My latest bag crush.

I have owned this beautiful handmade card file for years but I’ve always been too intimidated to actually use it. I do the same thing with new journals sometimes.

Got any thing awesome you want to share? Go to town in the comments.

Just a “thank you” for the Smart Wool mention a few weeks ago – got a pair as a holiday gift and they are the MOST. More comfortable than my own skin.

Nice selection. I,too, like the card file and the gingerbread house on the cup would definitely be a hit with my niece. The grosgrain is wonderful especially on brown paper packages tied up with …. Now the hand bag is my big wow. I am so done with my bags right now.. ready to pitch and get a new one.xo

I love that bag! I just had to go check out all their others. Can we have one of each? I do worry about their model though. She looks extremely bored or unhappy.

gingerbread house cup cookies – may just keel over and die! Here I was all excited about finding pepperment star peeps to float on the hot chocolate, but these TOTALLY win!

I have that address file too and have used it for years. It always makes me smile as I flip through and look for addresses. I encourage you to fully use it, you will get a lot of joy out of it. Things are meant to be used. When my grandmother died she left behind a lot of beautiful things that were too good to use. I learned my lesson from that.

As a veritable bag lady, I am in love with the red bag. The adjustable strap makes it a great cross-body bag, my new fave thing.

Back to your jar tops for a moment…I use Sharpies on mine too, and plain old rubbing alcohol does a dandy job of removing Sharpie markings. No scrubbing either. Just wet a paper towel with the alcohol and rub the marks off before you wash the tops.

lol, glad i am not the only one who buys something they luv then for reasons unexplained do not use it! I am getting better. I think i owned my nice lil paper cutter for 6 months before i broke it out of the package, i’m a creature of habit i guess. windows 7 is killing me!! (too many changes all at once! ugh!)
i had to laugh at the ramen chocolate? though it would be a hit with college students and folks in hawaii!

OMG, the gingerbread! Still recovering from our annual gingerbread party, then I’ll post pics.

dangit, woman! I WANT to try the tortilla chocolate bar, but what the heck am I going to do with a case of 12 (as Amazon is the only place “near” me that has it)?!

Oh wait, Seattle Chocolates…crap. Hips, meet chocolate.

Thank you once again for making me feel just a wee bit more sane :) . I have about 30 journals I’ve purchased or been gifted over the years that I just can’t bring myself to write in for fear I’ll ruin them. Because they’re so pretty or cute, what I write in them just won’t be “up to snuff” to destroy them with!!! I thought I was the only one :)

Also love that ribbon found that in Sundance too. Wish I could say the I was over the funky chocolate flavors but if it has dark chocolate and some sort of salt or spice I am in. Love the card file. I really relate to the idea of not being able to write on what seems perfect. I have the same problem with that and also cutting beautiful fabric or ribbons.

I have that exact Moop bag, but in black, and it’s fantastic. Lightweight, comfortable, attractive, and can hold a lot. Plus, they’re made in a small shop in Pittsburgh. Highly recommended!

Hey, you should try Cowgirl Chocolates. I bet there is no better way to combine two of your loves. For myself, I go for the mild mannered truffles, but you would likely appreciate the spicy hot ones.
