The great thing about firewood is that it warms you three times:

Once when you stack it
Once when you bring it into the house
And finally when you burn it.

Enjoy the fire! Nothing like a real fire on a cold winter's night...

Hey, fix that tire, women. Go to your local bike shop & get something called "slime." It's green goo that you put in your tires, and when you run over a thorn or nail or whatever, it seals the leak but quick. It sounds like you're staying warm, so all you need to do now is have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

You guys look great! I filled my hay barn yesterday - ok, some guys helped me - but still. Schlepping hay counts for a bit of shredding, I hope.

Tell Paige that if you guys love her, then we love her. And you'd like us to believe you two are dour tight butts, but unfortunately, we know better. It is good to have someone slap some sunshine into you, though, when you need it.

I used to have a wheelbarrow just like that! My landlord noticed it and reinflated the tire for me. Next day, it was just the same. So I got a can of tire inflator (http://www.penray.com/products/products.asp?x=1&y=305&articlesource=305) and it was wonderful!!! Stayed inflated till I sold the wheelbarrow over a year later when we moved to Sicily. Prob'ly still inflated!

Mmm, my arms start to ache thinking about moving that wood. I didn't have to move nearly as much, nearly as far, but when the only wheelbarrow w/o a flat tire is full of paver bricks, and you think it's easier to carry them, man you wear out fast!

You totally deserve to soak up that warmth! Enjoy it.

(We have 3 wheelbarrows, one w/2 wheels even, since the wood incident, all tires are now filled w/air)

oh no, i have been there with the flat tire on the wheelbarrel, it just does not work well at all! Thank goodness for the cigarette lighter compressor...came in handy for once! You bring back horrible memories of carrying wood. We only heated with wood growing up in northern new england, in fact my mom only got a furnace about 6 years ago!
