I’d like to inject my own bit of lightness in this great message (and I just bought a double share for Spring!). It’s really a confession of sorts…
One of the first blog posts I read had a typo in it. Susie was talking about Cormo wool, but she typed “Cormo woo” instead. Just above this statement was a picture of one of the goats – with that curly woozy hair. In my ignorance, I thought that “woo” was a special name for that kind of hair…and it even made sense to me at the time!
I’ve just received my Spring Share from 2009, and I have to tell you, that “Cormo woo” is the SOFTEST stuff I’ve touched in a long time. It is truly beautiful!!!
So have your laugh – but realize too that I’m laughing at myself!
I’ve said this before about other sheep of yours…..but….if Feenat goes missin’ you’d be smart to look at my house
I can’t wait to get my “cormo woo” !!! So funny! Ha! Jen
Poor Ernie! Life is like that sometimes.
All your flock look healthy and happy to be in their new home. The Ewes seem like a singling group…or band…. of girl sheep, doo wop, doo wop.
I love their faces, every one. (Also their names).
Everybody looks wonderful. I know you’re loving your mud-free fields. (envy x 2000) My wethers also think they’re all that – even without their sports packages, frustrated by what never was and never will be! But we love ‘em just the same…
Oh Linda, you look sooo happy! What a way to start the week, seeing your smiling face. Thank you Susan!!!! The pic of the ewes almost looks staged. Would be a great pic for a greeting card that said something inside like “We miss you” or “Whatcha been doing?” I can empathize with Ernie in a way. Not that I have a memory of umm breeding animals, but there are things that I think I can still do that are really not gonna happen Susan in HK..Cormo woo! I love that and think it might just live on in word posterity
Wow! Linda looks like she drank the elixir of youth! Look at that smile and how she carries herself with such comfort and joy! What a wonderful sight. Thank you.
I had this fantasy that I would come and introduce myself and worm my way into your hearts and hang out and help with the farm and the beasties and the gardens, etc. BUT YOU’VE LEFT!!!! How could you? Hope that you all will be happy (sniff)
Your new farm has a happy feeling to it. The animals seem to be settled in well. I hope this new chapter is the start some something wonderful! I’m also part of the Feenat fan club, there is just something about her! Can’t wait for the 2010 calendar!

Oh, they all look great! Thanks so much for posting these. I see what Erin means that Feenat keeps growing wider but hasn’t gotten at all taller.
Poor Ernie! I guess he’ll have to live on his memories…I’m assuming he has some or he wouldn’t be attempting this?
They look happy, and Feenat is absolutely adorable.

They look wonderful. Thanks so much. Looks like you are getting a little fall color here and there in the trees, too.
They all look so good. Glad to see Miss Linda looking so well. And Feenat, so wide. Love seeing them in their pasture. thanks so much.
We should all celebrate linda making the trip. I am so happy!

I’m with you Carol!! Celebrating Linda is so appropriate…
She looks so different all fleeced up and not all big and wide.
