i got this last year! well worth it!
Can you reveal if the yarn will be of one color and weight? Enough to make something substantial?
Hi Cynthia! It tends to be two matching skeins and the rest random, but it could all be random, if that makes sense. It’s much more geared to small projects than one big one.
Can I just say how much these beautiful colors basking in the Vineyard sun make my Monday so much better? Yes, I can, they do!!!!
Hmmm… Random yarns can pique the creativity!
Susan, I have chosen you as one of the blog I am passing the Honest Scrap award to. Your blog is so informative and interesting, I wanted to honor you with it. You can go to my blog, get the banner and see how it works. Thank you for all you do for us!
How do I order (if they aren’t already gone)? The link above doesn’t load anything new and I couldn’t find anything in the shop….
I love fall because of the beautiful colors. Looks like God painted a picture
Fall comment for Yarn Giveaway
F – friends sitting on the 2nd story deck in the cool fall evening sipping glass of wine
A – Anticipating the holiday season when I feel the pressure of finishing handmade gifts and feel the joy of knowing that people can’t wait to see what I made them this year
L – Layering with handknit sweaters, vests, wraps, and shrugs
L – Living in the country where fall colors surround my home with reds, oranges, yellows, browns, and greens
One thing I love about fall is not having to turn on the a/c so I can spin wool without getting too hot. Of course I’d still spin even if the a/c broke on a humid day.
What do i love about Fall? Where do i start? Here in Iowa it’s either really cold or really hot. So fall is a way for us Iowans to relax and finally enjoy or surrondings!
But what do i REALLY love about this fall?? I wont be pregnant after Thanksgiving!!! YEAH! Im pregnant with out fifth child and have already scheduled my induction for the day before Thnaksgiving. ( because i have HORRIBLE gestational diabetes, and i mean horrible! ) SO- this fall is sooo awesome for everyone in my family! We are glad to have another baby come into our home. But i am especially glad to have this over with! Thank you fall- you couldn’t look any better then you do right now!!
Fall is special because, on the religious side, it is the time of year when celebrating the High Holidays helps me renew my spiritual connections and, on the secular side, it is the time when I can enjoy my favorite wool things–flannel pants, tweed jackets and –of course–hand-knit sweaters.
It’s so hard to say what I like most about fall because the crisp fall air and colored leaves are right up on my list but I think it would have to be sleeping with the window open and being cool enough to use all your comfy blankets to keep warm. Yummy!
Maybe this is predictable, coming from me but..I love fall because of the light.
That’s a hard one. It is my least favorite season. Too many leaves to interfere with my knitting. I’m a southern girl, and down there fall means a nice winter – not the northern one that is too cold for me. How’s that. But I really want the surprise package.
Fall has always been my favorite season. Growing up in Illinois despite everything I loved about it, it also meant that a long cold winter was right around the corner. Now, after living 33 years in Florida, it finally brings an end to the miserable 90+ degrees and high steamy humidity of the last 5 months. Summer here is my own version of ‘cabin fever’ and I come alive at the first sign of cool mornings. My energy soars, it triggers the desire to run my hands through skeins of wool yarn and the first opportunity in months to bundle up in handknitted glory.
