Portrait of a Ewe

by Susan on September 20, 2009

sheepThis lovely painting of our ewe, Liberty, is by artists Lisa Congdon. Lisa contacted me last year after seeing this photograph on Amanda Soule’s blog.

I really think Lisa captured Liberty’s spirit in the painting.  There are a few signed archival prints available in Lisa’s shop if you are interested.

What a great photograph. The painting is sweet, too. It would be hard to choose between them.

Lisa you have a great talent. You brought Liberty to life in your painting.

It’s absolutely gorgeous as is the photograph as is Liberty.

Great photo and painting! I love the little details added in the painting–the heart and the broader smile. So lovely.
