It’s been an age since I did a PSYWL post and I’ve got all kind of awesome for ya. Hold onto your hats.
Finslippy has written what I think is the seminal blog post on other people’s perfume. It’s not okay for a stranger to scream in my ear, so why is okay for them to scream in my nose?
Hu2 makes really neat vinyl wall decals like the one below. I love this one. And this one. And this one would be great in y’all’s kitchens.
Want to know what colors you’ll be wearing this fall? Ask Pantone. I look forward to this every season.
Vintagraph sells all kinds of beautiful vintage posters. I love the look of these from WWII.
Did you know there is a “Right to Dry” movement in this country? Because in many, many, many neighborhoods IN AMERICA, people don’t have the right to hang their clothing to dry in the sun? If this infuriates you as much as it does me, please sign this online petition.
This article about invasive squirrels in the U.K. is sort of interesting. This picture of an English gamekeeper IN A THREE PIECE SUIT holding dead squirrels is my new happy place. But I’m not giving up my old happy place. NEVER.
Cats that look like Hitler. Seriously.
The 3/50 project is all about keeping money in your community. Very cool.
Ninja Umbrellas at better living though design.
This video damn near makes me want a baby.
Probably Bad News – a collection of journalisms worst- is hilarious.
urlesque has compiled the 100 most iconic internet videos of all time. I have to admit that I’d never seen half of these. Until this afternoon. When I watched all of them.

My friend Jenny turned me on to this wonderful papercutting website. This is another beautiful art form that I will never be able to do, but I can admire it.
Best. Water bottle. Ever.
Okay, that’s what I’m bringing to the party. What have you got? Post your links in the comments. Everything is welcome as long as it’s awesome or interesting. Comments with more than two links are moderated to protect you from spam.
p.s. I’m thinking of spinning Probably something you would like… off onto it’s own site. Thoughts?

I think it would be a GREAT site!!
My friend Alex spearheaded and is the Executive Director of Project Laundry List, who are very heavily active in the Right to Dry movement! It’s exciting because just yesterday I noticed PLL was mentioned in Better Homes & Gardens and here you are now talking about R2D!
BTW, I told Ken about the Laundry Alternative and he’s ALL about it now!
FYI the link for Finslippy doesn’t work – I think the URL got doubled.
Excellent finds! Yes, You could spin this site off, you’re good at this!
I’ve got one! One of the nicest stop motion videos I’ve seen lately (2 min- Youtube) http://bit.ly/CwzPM

Having a website showing this fantastic potpourri of videos, articles, etc. is a great idea! The ones you’ve shown tonight had me mesmerized. Great sleuthing!!
I love PSYWL – the only thing I have to learn is read through once, then go back and click the links! Oh – and manage time accordingly.

It has to be said that Vinyl Wall Stickers are an extremely novel way to decorate a wall, turning it into a canvas for you to stick your own art on. Lots of the stickers can be positioned as you like (like the sheep stickers above) so you become a part of the creative process. My WallSticker has a great selection from the French Design collective ‘Domestic’ worth checking out – they are UK based.
I can’t thank you enough for including my cone dog pillow in your beautiful list! Great blog!
Its own site? Great idea! EXCEPT…one more site for me to bookmark and find my way to. I like it all here and handy where I come already, because I’m selfish like that.
I love this list. You find the greatest stuff. I still haven’t recovered from those yarn bowls…and the news that I can’t just order me up one, internet-style!
