Sweet William and Dimples each took home a first place ribbon at the Fair. Dimples won for Angora Goat Kid and Wills for Angora Goat 1-2 2 years-old. 
They also won the hearts of hundreds (thousands?) of children who’d never seen an Angora goat before. Seriously, I think Dimples is going to need her own Facebook Fan page.
I love the Fair and I’m feeling a little Day After Christmas-y tonight. The end of the Fair equals the end of summer. It also means that it’s time for me to take care of all the things I’ve been putting off till after the Fair was over. But all that can wait till tomorrow.
Tonight, I’m drinking gin & tonics and toasting to summer.
