I am a Volunteer Craft Instructor at a local hospital and we use only donated yarn to knit baby hats, socks, mittens, baby blankets and large knitted hospice quilts. We are in need of yarn, since many of our members are so fast and efficient that our beautiful creations are churned out faster than our supply. It would be great to connect with others, too. Many of our Knitters are cancer patients and this weekly meeting is so important to them. It helps provide an uplifting, positive outlet, when they attending the group. We always smile when we say...."It's not JUST about knitting".
