Susan, I would definately make this into a cabled sweater so that I could enjoy it and make it visible to others. I also wanted you to know that we really enjoyed the sheep shearing festival. Thank you very much. Looking forward to next year. Julie

I'd make a sweater to replace my favorite one. I've worn it for so long that it is literally coming apart at the seams. And it has a couple of holes that may or may not be moth holes.

I don't have a pattern, but it is a simple crew neck sweater with a few cables. It isn't fancy, but it fits perfectly, which is often a problem for me because I'm really short (sleeves are always long and shoulders are huge). It is an oatmeal color like your yarn and it goes with everything.

I'd love to replace it, but I don't even know where I bought it, and it no longer has a tag. If i ever want another, the only way for me to get it is to re-knit it. And this yarn would be perfect!

I would make the Owls Sweater (http://needled.wordpress.com/2008/11/22/owls/). To me, this sweater should use a wool that is similar to the natural coloring of an owl. Not all owls are dark grey or brown Your oatmeal heather is the perfect color and from the looks of your picture is a perfect fuzziness (or lack thereof) to really highlight the 3-D effect of the cabled owls.

Idon't see it posted;so, I can only assume that's what happened.

Beautiful yarn! I would make Silver Belle by Debbie Bliss. It's on my list of things to make while I'm on summer break.

I'm not seeing my post come up so I'll try again.
I would make the
Great American Aran Afghan. 1600 yards would make a really nice lap blanket.

Well, I guess I'll give this a shot..
the yarn is gorgeous, and you're very kind to make such a gracious offer - whomever wins will put it to good use, I'm sure..

I think that I would make a sweater out of it! I don't currently have a pattern picked out, but that yarnjust screams sweater.
