Twin Doelings named Ophelia and Odette.
This is Heidi’s Daughter Zoe, who came all the way from NYC just to see the newborns.
The babies are small, particularly Odette, but both have had a good long drink and are full of energy. Linda looks really great and she’s taking great care of her babies. We are all hugely relieved that the babies are here and Linda is safe and sound. What a spectacular ending to the 2009 kidding season! And we are thrilled to have shared it with you.
Erin and I are exhausted from the Maryland Sheep and Wool show but we had such a lovely time meeting shareholders this weekend! Y’all are all so kind to us! Patrick is exhausted from having to do all my farm work over the weekend. (I think he has a whole new respect for what I do!)
Many more pics tomorrow when I’ve gotten a good nights sleep.

Woo hoo!!!! I’m so relieved Miss Linda is okay and the babies are adorable. Whew! That was a long wait and I bet Linda thought so too.
Wait — weren’t there 16 bred nannies? “O” just makes 15 deliveries, but you said “what a spectacular end to the 2009 kidding season”. What about #16?
That is a relief! Onward – to the sheep!
Sweet, sweet Linda, congratulations on your beautiful girls. We all love you and are so proud
Jackie, we are darn near positive that Fran isn’t bred. We are also relieved- 25 kids is plenty, thank you very much.

This is just the nicest news to get. Thanks to you all the the farm for sharing Miss Linda with us. It has been great fun with two wonderful surprises at the end.
So happy for Miss Linda! She looked so uncomfortable and unhappy for awhile there. But these two beautiful babies will erase all that! Bless their little hearts! I’d love to live close enough to visit them in person. They look so sweet!
Whew!! I was getting worried about Miss Linda. Glad everything is ok!!
Well done, Miss L. So glad that Linda and her kids are doing great. What a pair of sweeties!

I’m just so happy for you all that Linda and babies (two girls!) are doing well. Darling picture.
And Zoe looks thrilled to be holding the babies. Darling picture.
So relieved and happy for Nanny Linda! She saved the best for last apparently.
Way to go on the two doelings, Linda!
It seems like we heard about Linda first and she kidded last! (At least here at our house-we started looking at the webcam when you mentioned Linda and kidding, back in early April I think) Adorable little goatlings.
