Erin and I are fixin’ to head out for the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival. I am giving a little talk tomorrow morning, then we’re having a Friends of Fiber Farm Meet-up at Noon between buildings 5 & 6. If you’re going to be at the show be sure and stop by- we’re bringing Fiber Farm swag! Can’t wait to see all of you.
Those of you who can’t make it can check back here over the weekend for updates from MDSW.

Wish I could go… Next year – it’s on the calendar. anxious to see and hear all about it….
Have loads of fun and enjoy!!
I LOVE that festival. I went every year when I lived in No. VA, and now that I’m home in California it’s the only thing I miss about living back east. Have fun, and sink your hands into some yummy yarn for me. (and maybe check in on the dog trials).
No! I can’t go until Sunday. Are you hanging around?
I’ll be there!!! I was actually there today for “Basic Shepherding”. So many lovely Lambies already there. Hope to see you soon.
Diane
I wish. Have fun everyone.
Hope you have a great time and I so wish I was going to be there! I’m going to plan on it for next year, though. And….I bet next year you’ll be on the A list….when they see how great you are you’ll be one of the first people invited, instead of a last-minute-fill-in. I hope everyone going has a great time. I’ll be happy if I get to a teeny-tiny-little Fiber Fest in Snow Hill, MD, this fall. It was fun last year.
Have a great time. You and Erin deserve the break.
Take photos for we Shareholders over on Ravelry!
XOXO
I wanna go. I wanna go. I wanna goooooo. .. sigh.
Good luck with your talk, Susan. You’ll be great!!!
yippeee.. I get to go! see you there.. trying my best to be there by noon. Its 1 1/2 hours or so from me in northern VA. Can’t wait…
Bumming… I couldn’t get up there today after all..8-(
My birding group got lost and then there was a minor emergency so the whole morning went to heck… it was almost 2 before I could have even started to drive there and it would have been forever. I hope to make a trip up to see you at the farm. Sad I missed a chance today to finally meet you in person
I wish I could go too…I want to meet you guys so bad! I so enjoy reading your blog.
you gotta come visit us in texas in april for fiberfest! only because i can’t get up there! whimper
I wish I’d been able to be at the meet-up, but it was my first time at the festival and I got sucked into the main barn and totally lost track of time! I was completely overwhelmed, but I had a blast and got some great stuff. Hopefully I’ll get to see you next year. With any luck, I’ll be a little more organized then
I smiled when I read ‘fixin’ to’. Years ago when I first went online I posted something in a chat room and got a PM asking if I was from Oklahoma or TX related to me saying fixin’ to. I thought everyone said it.
Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! You absolutely made my night Sat night. I’m wearing my tattoo over my heart right now. Speaking of hearts, I’m heartbroken that you’re sold out of shares, and even moreso that I can’t make it to Shearing Day. I’d positively flip. Just too much dreaded work/school-stress. And almost on my birthday, even. I will send love instead and live vicariously through your blog posts, and hope I can get away next year, if I’m not at some Navy Research post in Lima or Jakarta.
hi you all
i just got home from a seminar weekend in LA i re-did on nutrition and healing with food & nutrition.

I wante to let you know that it was great meeting you at the party on Saturday night. Just from what I read on your website, I’m extremely excited about my 1 share that I won. I can’t wait to see the yummy yarn I get. I think what you do is awesome and I think this will become something I get every year (won or bought). Thanks so much and I look forward to talking with you through email!
Sooo much fun to meet you in person and gushingly repeat everything I post on this blog! Thanks so much for making the trip and hope the return home was not too exhausting. Can’t wait to see more photos of the new babies!!!
Really was great meeting you guys on Saturday. My DH was quite insistent that I make it over there to meet you, he knows me well enough to know that I would have been bumming had I not gone.
It was great seeing both of you again on Sunday!! Hope to come see you at the farm one of these days.
