It has been an age since I did one of these posts. Blame it on kidding. And lack of sleep. And global warming.
But fear not! Cause even though I haven’t been writing these posts I have been saving every living thing I find to share with you. So this will be a super-sized edition.
Morbid crochet. Very funny.
Woman makes clothing our of her hair. HER HAIR! 10 points for ingenuity. 0 points for not skeeving me out.
More cool blocks. What can I say. I like blocks.
These prints by Blanca Gomez really knock me out.
Loving this laptop sleeve.
Great video for newbies- how to pick up a dropped stitch.
Funny. Cause it’s true.
Anna Marie Horner’s fabrics knock. me. out.
Do you know about Garfield minus Garfield? “Garfield Minus Garfield is a site dedicated to removing Garfield from the Garfield comic strips in order to reveal the existential angst of a certain young Mr. Jon Arbuckle. It is a journey deep into the mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against loneliness and depression in a quiet American suburb. ”

Blackle is a version of google that saves electricity by using a black background rather than white.

Huh, interesting, during the blackout hour google went black but claimed it saved no watt hours *shrug*
You used to be able to get deep fried mac and cheese at TGIFriday’s oh man it was sooooooo good!
As for a link to share, well with all this worry about this swine flu thing, I feel that this is a good link to keep handy http://www.doihavepigflu.com/ (and trust me, I do think you’ll enjoy it)
OMG! Mich that is hilarious! Erin’s been saying the same thing to me all week.
I have to give the Yarn Harlot credit for that one, showed up on my twitter feed, she got it from Rachel H it seems, but it’s just too good not to share!

Um, there’s a reason that hairshirts have been the preferred garb of martyrs for centuries–human hair makes TERRIBLE clothing!
All you need to do is add some felting to your crafting list (it’s even faster than crochet, you know), and you could make similar laptop cases yourself to sell in the store!
Alton Brown did a fried, leftover-mac-and-cheese dish on Good Eats at some point or another. Looked tasty but so, so naughty. (Sigh. I miss being able to meat baked macaroni.)
That light really IS cool!
The sheep commercial totally made me laugh. Thanks!
Nancy, that made me teary. What a beautiful thing.
All those sheep on the train put me too much in mind of my recent shearing day. That is a big load of sweaters on the hoof, though…. yum…
I *totally* needed that newbie video. When people show me how to do things in real life, many of them are very well intending, but do it WAY TOO FAST for me to see what they mean (hence it taking just this long to learn to knit). This is a great resource <3.
3/23, in the wisdom zone
My favorite computer sleeve is made by http://www.mayanhands.org.
I don’t see it in their on-site catalog, but you can email and ask – and they have LOTS of other good stuff, all made by women’s coops, fair trade, and excellent quality.
I love your blog
Rabbit Rabbit
