Baby number two!

by Susan on April 14, 2009

She was born at 3:00 a.m. to #11. She’s very small but strong and smart. After a couple of near misses she found the udder and started drinking from her mama.dsc_00751

This little punkin needs a name. It has to be a font starting with B to keep with our current naming convention. Any suggestions?

Awww! That last picture, newborn milk bliss, just like a human baby with its mama.

That made me a bit weepy!

Su April 14, 2009 at 3:14 am

Such a gorgeous smile :)

Julie April 14, 2009 at 3:58 am

Parisa April 14, 2009 at 4:54 am

I just looked up font names and like these: Bell (my favorite), Bodoni and Broadway. She is gorgeous.

Sandi O (chloecat262) April 14, 2009 at 5:14 am

What a sweetie! Bailarina, Balora, or Becka

Polly April 14, 2009 at 5:22 am

One of each now, a gentleman’s family. Batang or Beatnik, I think.

Meribeth April 14, 2009 at 5:33 am

Adorable! Batang, for her name? Such beautiful eyes and she seems to be amused over this birthing business, heehee!

Kiewies April 14, 2009 at 5:37 am

Bliss, Bluebell, Bea

She is awfully cute :)

Manise April 14, 2009 at 5:39 am

She’s perfect! Baby Berling? I kind of like Birch for a doeling.

beth April 14, 2009 at 5:50 am

I’m there with a bit of a sniffle. Gorgeous. I’m thinking of Bella – or Blanche – because she’s creamy white…

carol Gibbs April 14, 2009 at 6:14 am

Is bluebell a font, I like it! She is cute beyond words.

Jenna Stewart April 14, 2009 at 6:16 am

Absolutely lovely!
Congratulations!
How about Balmoral, Bembo or Bonzai?

Anna Marie April 14, 2009 at 6:22 am

I like Bell. She is too cute! She almost looks like she’s smiling at us in the first photo.

Adelaide April 14, 2009 at 6:26 am

How about Bodoni?

Mujercita April 14, 2009 at 6:42 am

There are a lot of “B” boy font names, but not as many girl ones- but there is a “Bell MT.”

Debbi April 14, 2009 at 6:46 am

Bittersweet is a font name on http://www.dafont.com/. I think that is a great name.

beautyredefined April 14, 2009 at 6:53 am

I would vote for Bell, personally.

Vickie April 14, 2009 at 6:56 am

BABETTE

Vickie April 14, 2009 at 6:58 am

Sorry about the all caps on Babette. I hit something and it saved the comment before I had time to change the name that I got from a naming site. She’s a cutie what ever her name is going to be!

jamie April 14, 2009 at 7:06 am

Bell would be fitting for such a cutie!

Peggy April 14, 2009 at 7:06 am

Butter

acraftylawyer April 14, 2009 at 7:30 am

How about Berylium?

molly April 14, 2009 at 7:43 am

I like Bembo, though maybe it is too close to Bimbo. Or Bumblebee on the Moon. It was fun looking at various font names, there are some crazy ones out there.

Shirra (KnitForBrains on Ravelry) April 14, 2009 at 7:51 am

How about Bordeaux?

So cute! Love the smile! Can’t wait to see them in person!

Nicole April 14, 2009 at 8:07 am

Bailey, Berylium, Betsy Flanagan!

So cute, makes me want to steal her.

Erin L. April 14, 2009 at 8:44 am

Darling! Just looking at the MS Office fonts: Batik or Bodoni…

Julie April 14, 2009 at 8:53 am

I suggest “Bitsy” or “Betsy”
She’s so sweet!

Jackie April 14, 2009 at 9:03 am

She’s so sweet! How about Bell? Or Broadway?

Theresa Babylon April 14, 2009 at 9:19 am

I second “Bordeaux”. I almost can’t stand off cute she is!

Hannah April 14, 2009 at 9:35 am

Bauhaus might work

But I vote for Bell :) Such a sweetie!

Angelic April 14, 2009 at 9:39 am

How sweet! I was awake at 3:00 a.m. watching the WebCam.

How about Bianca

Amy April 14, 2009 at 9:40 am

How about Bly or Brisa! She’s just so adorable.

writerbug April 14, 2009 at 9:41 am

I too love the last photo!

How about bauhaus for the name? It sounds strong to me.

Louise April 14, 2009 at 9:41 am

Bell, Bamboo, Bingo but seeing she is a girl… I like Bell

Allison April 14, 2009 at 9:43 am

How about Belwe or…Boink! So cute! So sweet! Congratulations on #2!

Jordi April 14, 2009 at 9:45 am

Broadway… just look at those eyes.
She is a star..

Elizabeth April 14, 2009 at 9:54 am

I think “Bell” is the perfect name for this little sweetheart.

Maggie April 14, 2009 at 9:55 am

Beatrice

Pamela April 14, 2009 at 10:02 am

Beatrice – is my thought on a name.
Been a while since we’ve named goats and other farm critters.
This has been such enjoyment watching the lambcam.

Megpie April 14, 2009 at 10:13 am

Bell is a good name, but maybe Bookman if she’s smart, or Broadway if she takes towards the theatrical!

Nikki April 14, 2009 at 10:30 am

I was going to suggest Balthazar, but since she’s a girl I’ll vote Bimini! :-)

Rona Thau April 14, 2009 at 10:42 am

i just fond the font bimini too
since shes petit, bimini
congrats all esp #11 xoxo…rona

Mandy April 14, 2009 at 10:43 am

Love the pictures! My name favorites so far are Bell or Bodoni, but I think I need to find an expanded list of fonts. People are coming up with all sorts that I’m not seeing in Word!

Dianepurls April 14, 2009 at 10:51 am

Barbara, Bell or Beatrice?

Beatrice was my first thought.

Does this mean that #3 will need a C name?

A beauty. I like Bell (font used in Word) for a name.
