Harry, your videos are awesome! I will miss them if you stop making them when the LamCam is up!

Oncore! Oncore!

To this comment: ¨This is basically what they do all day, every day.¨ I must say- Dude!, they are growing fiber; it´s important work. (just in case you forgot)

Why are some of them covered?

Erin McCabe March 7, 2009 at 8:59 pm

Hi Kara – the lambs you see in the video have coats on to help keep their fleeces clean. The goats can’t be coated because their curly fleece will matt.

Ha! Loved the ending, lol.

Was the background noise the river (or stream or crick or whatever y’all call it) or just general ambient noise?

I can easily see spending hours just watching them “be”. Chewing cud, nosing around, enjoying salt licks, etc. So. Stink’n. Cute!

Thanks Harry!

Hi Erin,
Hey, do you have several sizes of coats for the sheep as their fleece grows out? Here in Texas, I couldn’t even dream of coating my sheep, but I wish I could – it would save hours of picking vm out of the wool. And the alpacas’ life goal is to roll in as much… em, stuff as possible, to make our lives more… interesting after shearing. So, I’m always fascinated by sheep coats. I think I’ve seen one of Susie’s photos of the wool when the coat comes off. Kinda cool looking!

Thanks again for the vid, Harry!
