That photo is a treasure - the look of bliss on that lamby's face! The human/lamb connection is very compelling!

Ernie! Old pal! That is such a sweet pic of him!

I know what you mean about the dog... except I'm not writing A Big Important Book!!! I'm just knitting... and every time I just get settled under the blanket, and just find my place in the pattern, here comes big ol' cuddle-doggy, nosing around, giving me his "I have to go out NOW or I'll pee on the floor!!!" look. {{sigh}} ok, out we go. He noses around for 10 minutes, pees a teaspoon and trots over and says "Ok, I'm done! Let's go in -- it's cold out here!" Wish I could let him out by himself, but I have skunks and coyotes in my neighborhood, so I don't dare. (Yes, in downtown Hyannis! Really!) He'd try to make friends with them. Idjit.

He looks like he is in heaven. And speaking of Ernie, I love his January picture in the Calendar; whenever I looked up from my computer, there he was - peering into my cubicle.

Some days are like that (especially this time of year - for me anyways). Ernie looks so happy. What are "cowboy beans"?

Take heart The Book is almost done right - BTW I do recommend stopping before the bleeding starts. Oh and the dog going in and out - well, I was a smarty and taught my dogs to ring a bell when they need to go out - today I wanted to take the _____bell and fling it. I have 2 Border Collies (first mistake - 2) and they figured out that if I didn't answer the bell right away they would ring it non stop until I gave in, mind you they just wanted the sun (can't blame them) and then come back in, then out again, and in...you get the idea.
